🗳️Mock Election at Hannibal Middle School! 🗳️
Ms. Hagenah and Mr. Harvey are hosting a mock election at HMS this week, giving students an interactive and inspiring lesson on democracy!
Together, students learn that it’s not about who you vote for, but about the importance of participating and respecting the process. This experience is a fantastic way to introduce students to the power and responsibility of voting.
Each student received their very own "voter registration card" to keep as a memorable token of this experience, emphasizing that voting is a powerful right and responsibility we all share as Americans.🇺🇸

Explore the Invention of Writing! HMS Sixth graders used a stylus (toothpick) to press symbols into small clay tablets (Oreos). Students then wrote 3 to 4 sentences on the importance of their symbols. They did a fantastic job!

🎉 You never know what will happen when you're at school! 🎉
🧰 Today only at Hannibal Middle School, students in attendance are getting the chance to duct tape Mrs. Utterback to the wall during their lunch! 😂 🛠️
Remember attendance matters- and you never know what surprises are around the corner. 😉 So, make sure you're here, on time, and ready for anything (like taping your principal to the wall)! 🏴☠️
