Activities earlier this week included a visit from Cuddle Cats Rescue and a classroom focus on the Black Bear.
Thank you to Cuddle Cats Rescue and the Missouri Department of Conservation for their time visiting and resources we used.

🌞🐐 Today HMS Summer School had some special visitors! Clover and Jethro, friendly goats belonging to the Duncan family, stopped by to teach our students about responsibility, animal care, and the joys of learning outside the classroom. 🏫📚 T

🌧☔ RAINY DAY APPRECIATION POST🌈:
A big thank you to Jesse Chapman, who plays a crucial role in keeping our students safe while directing traffic on Pirate Pride Drive every day! Jesse is there in all kinds of weather, making sure traffic flows smoothly and our kids cross safely. We're thankful everyday, but rainy days especially! Thank you Jesse for all you do!!🌧☔🌈🏴☠️

🏴☠️️When the student becomes the teacher. Being able to teach to someone else is a great benchmark for assessing mastery. Coach Nicholas's weight lifting class was able to take the information they learned throughout the semester and teach their techniques to 6th grade Health students. 6th grade students have been learning about muscles, stretching, and workout routines in their class. It was a win-win for both classes.

We need your help!!! Share a positive message with someone *CURRENT HPS STAFF* who has made a positive impact in your child's life this school year!
